I have become a better Mother through managing my farming business in a streamlined way. The learning with RCS helped me focus on what’s important on the farm and in the office. Improving the business has enabled more quality time with my kids over the years. I now have space in my life to live with intentional purpose and meaning.

When we first started learning about ‘Regenerative Agriculture’, it felt natural to invite Nic Kentish (RCS Advisor) to spend a day on our farm. Since then, we have attended the Grazing Clinic, the Grazing & Farming For Profit School, engaged advisory services, and are now part of Executive Link – which we are loving.
The growth in ourselves, our knowledge, and our farm business during this time has been far greater than we ever expected. What truly stands out, however, is the incredible community of people we’ve connected with throughout our RCS journey – we are so grateful and look forward to continuing this journey with RCS.
Our first experience with RCS was back in 2020 when my husband Jake and I did Grazing for Profit (GFP) together. We knew we wanted to make a change in the business but weren’t sure how to progress. GFP meant we were learning together and gave us a week to really focus on what we wanted from the farm as a couple, something we never would have had time to do “on farm”. RCS really encourages you to get clear on your values and vision on both a personal and business level, so everyone in the business and family can contribute and understand what you are doing and why.
We joined an Executive Link (EL) Board in 2022 which was like strapping a jet pack onto our goals and dreams for the farm! We learned so much about ourselves, confronted a few thorny topics and ticked off a lot of goals, then thought up some new ones. Both GFP and EL put all the business stakeholders on an equal playing field and it was great to watch so many of the women in the room go from sitting back to being the group leaders by the end of the three years.
As a daughter coming back to a multi-generational farm, my time with RCS has confirmed for me that I have the knowledge to make a valuable contribution to our farm. More importantly we can be profitable, improve our environment AND keep valuable family relationships intact!
