We’re often asked about the difference between our two flagship grazing and farming management courses. Together, the two courses have empowered more than 8,000 graduates with the RCS grazing and farm management principles, making them the premier business programs for Australia’s agricultural industry.
This course goes into greater detail in areas such as animal nutrition, reproduction and livestock management and grazing.
This course also takes a deep dive into soil health, examining different cropping systems, learning how to reduce inputs, and delivering practical techniques for success.

The standard investment is $5,790 per person, and we also offer group rates for people attending from the same family or business:

As our knowledge and environment evolves, so do we. We continually update our content to create the best program possible, so the outline below is a guide only.
Day 1: Introduction to the course and review of the pre-course preparation. Begins at 2pm and finishes at approximately 6pm followed by dinner.
The remainder of the course begins at 8am each day and finishes at approximately 6pm.
Day 2: The Three Secrets of Profit, business analysis tools, business control tools, people management, Visions and Goals.
Day 3: Overcoming constraints, planning tools, analysing a business, benchmarking, finance, and money management.
Day 4: Ecology, grazing management systems, regenerative grazing principles.
Day 5: Property planning, grazing errors, field trip.
Day 6: Drought planning, grazing review, reproduction, nutrition.
Day 7: Review, time management, working on the business, pulling it all together. Special Graduation Dinner.
Program sizes vary with the maximum number of participants capped at 48. Our friendly delivery team ensures the pace and content is adapted to suit everyone’s learning style and level. Regardless of program size, you’ll work in a group with four to five other participants.
