Managing for Profit Producer Discussion

Have you recently reflected on your achievements since completing an RCS course?

We hope they have been what you planned.

However, often the reality is that life gets in the way and we fall back into working in rather than on the business pretty quickly.

  • It is easy to lose focus and step back into old patterns
  • Sometimes it is what we stop doing which saves money in a business
  • We often must give up something in order to move forward – but what should it be?

We have created the Managing for Profit program to provide the after-course support you need to get your systems and your business firing.

Creating connections, support and momentum

What is it?
Managing for Profit is a fortnightly online session (60-90 minutes) held Thursdays at 12pm AEST, where an RCS facilitator and other graduates use your questions and comments to:

  • Revisit key principles on land, production, business and people.
  • Discuss questions on content from the course.
  • Explore implementation of the principles.
  • Look at management strategies relevant to current conditions/time of year.
  • Dig into latest industry topics and hear latest research/updates.
  • Hear from industry specialists on industry hot topics.

The agenda is broken into three components each fortnight.

  1. Revision of an RCS Principle relevant to time of year or requested topics
  2. Strategic discussion of topics raised by you
  3. Operational discussion of topics raised by you

What our clients have to say

“Managing for Profit gives you the confidence to follow through on your ideas after you leave an RCS course. You can brainstorm with your peers and RCS teachers to test and troubleshoot your plans. It also puts focus back on things in your business that you were disregarding as insignificant but could be affecting your production and bottom line.”

Jos Maclean, Baralaba QLD

“If you’ve put the time into doing a course, it’s invaluable to keep the momentum. Managing for Profit lets you continue learning without having to pick up a book, as you hear about the real-life application of RCS principles from others.”

Lyn Eather, Kokotungo QLD
