Online Grazing Clinics

The Online RCS Grazing Clinics develop integral skills required to enhance your journey in agriculture and take your grazing management to the next level.

In this online clinic, you dive into grazing management practices, including how to design and manage regenerative systems, and how to use grazing charts as a planning and decision-making tool. This knowledge will empower you to increase the productivity of your farm and future-proof your business.

With a focus on implementation and application to real-life situations, your facilitator will cover:

  • How to assess rest period and calculate graze period
  • How to match stocking rate to carrying capacity
  • How to use grazing charts or MaiaGrazing to plan and make confident decisions
  • The six principles of Grazing Management
  • Property design, water design and fence planning
  • Adapting to seasonal and climate variability
  • How to grow soil carbon for Carbon Farming opportunities

Producers will finish having worked on their own grazing chart and made strides toward confidently managing their grass and feed budgeting.

Online Grazing Clinics provide a snippet from GrazingforProfit®, built for farmers who are considering or have begun a transition to regenerative agriculture. Following the course, producers can choose to continue their learning beyond livestock and land management with GrazingforProfit®.
