Sam is a fourth generation grain and cattle farmer. In 2014, Sam and Georgina made the decision to create a more sustainable future for their family. They started to learn and they became addicted. Addicted to the mind shift, to the sharing of knowledge and experience, to seeing change in the land and the best part of all, the feeling like they were on a better path, a more sustainable path.
In 2019 and after watching drought cripple much of rural Queensland and New South Wales for close to two years, they decided to move their family away. To a cleaner, cooler, coastal environment, to diversify their business (mitigating risk). They found ‘Levenvale Farm’ which was in it’s second year conversion of being certified organic. They feel very blessed to have taken this farm on.
